Music

The greatest gift to another is sharing one’s time and talent. As followers of Jesus Christ we are asked to serve in mission to our neighbors to help them grow deeper in their faith in Christ. One of the greatest tools we have for this mission is God’s gift of music. Join fellow brothers and sisters in Christ in making music at Prince of Peace and serve others, yourself and our Savior Jesus Christ. Prince of Peace offers a variety of musical opportunities.

Adult Choir: Through the gift of music, the Adult Choir acts as worship leaders at the 8:30 and 9:45 a.m. services through hymnody and special music. All voice types and experience are welcome. Rehearsals are Thursday nights at 7:40 p.m.

Handbell Choir: Once a month the Handbell Choir helps to lead worship through the use of a three-octave Schulmark hand bell set. Those with and without musical experience are welcome to join in “Ringing a new song unto the Lord.” Rehearsals are Thursday nights at 6:20 p.m.

Children’s Music is available through our Sunday School Program.

Orchestra/Instrumental Music: Those who are gifted with musical ability are welcome to share their instrumental talents by offering special music or playing in an ensemble on Festival or other Sunday mornings.

New members are always welcome! Contact Scott Uddenberg about sharing these gifts:Click here

Contemporary Band: The 11:15 a.m. service serves as our contemporary music service. We invite anyone with contemporary music gifts to join us in facilitating worship. Common instruments are singing, guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, piano, etc. Our contemporary band meets at 9:00 a.m. every Sunday morning to rehearse prior to the service.
