Read to Learn is an adult literacy program offering free adult reading classes at Prince of Peace and other locations throughout the community.
In Read to Learn, adult volunteer tutors implement prepared lesson plans for English-speaking adult learners in a one-to-one-in-person instructional setting.
Prince of Peace hosts this program twice a year. Each semester involves 10 weeks of classes.
FALL SEMESTER will begin on September 5, 2023 from 12:30pm to 3:00pm.
Testing for students will be held at Prince of Peace on Tuesday August 22, 2023 at 12:30pm.
Training for returning volunteer tutors will be held at Forest View Education Center on Friday August 18, 2023 from 9:45am to Noon.
New Tutor Training will be held on Saturday August 19, 2023 from 8:30am to Noon.
